Tour 4 ( 8-Day Tour of Bulgaria - Nadbalkan ):

   Day 1: Arrival in Sofia. Check into your hotel. City tour of Sofia including St. Alexander Nevsky's Cathedral, the archeological complex (4-5 C) and visit to the National History Museum. Overnight stay in Sofia.
   Day 2: Departure for the city of Veliko Tarnovo. Drive through Etara(Gabrovo), Bojentsi and Drianovo Monastery. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.
   Day 3: Tour to the museum village of Arbanassi and in the afternoon city tour of Tarnovo including the fortress of the Bulgarian monarchs on the Tsarevets hill in Tarnovo, old capitol of Bulgaria(12 - 14 C). Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.
   Day 4: Shumen. Visit to the ancient fortress, the monument "1300 years Bulgaria" and the History Museum of Shumen. Overnight in Shumen.
   Day 5: Excursion from Shumen to Pliska(the first Bulgarian capital 7-9 C), The Madara Horseman(a 8 C rock relief) and the ruins of Preslav. Overnight stay in Shumen.
   Day 6: Apriltsi (resort village).
   Day 7: Sofia.
   Day 8: Departure from Sofia.
